The traditional heartland of Bali’s tourist industry, Legian is a beautiful town with a wealth of affordable easy-going bars and restaurants. Any guest will be delighted by the town’s beachfront ambience and unique local markets – where just about anything can be acquired for a bargain.

As Bali’s mainstay tourist destination for the last 20 years, it caters for a wide variety of needs. However, if you’re particularly interested in learning to surf, Legian is a great location to understand the basics.

With fine, gentle beaches and amazing sunsets, it is the beginner surfer’s dream. More intermediate surfers may wish to consider moving further along the coast.
