As your abode during your Ubud retreat, our collection of bungalows and suite villas offer you spacious and opulence with traditional Balinese architectural features such as thatched roofs and a natural tone through combinations of marble, bamboo and timber, as well as layouts that allow for ample air circulation and natural light throughout bedrooms and living spaces.

Each bedroom opens to a private terrace or balcony, and comfortable four-poster beds are replete with mosquito nets. Rooms are individual air conditioning and ceiling fans, while in-room entertainment features include television with international channel selections. Marble bathrooms feature sunken bathtubs with hot and cold water, while Deluxe bungalows feature private Balinese wooden bale gazebos overlooking your own private tropical gardens.

While each of the bungalows and villa units offer a great sense of privacy and seclusion, the resort’s main heart is well tucked away from the traffic and crowds. However, Barong Resort & Spa offers the best location to experience Ubud, only a short stroll away to one of the famous landmarks, namely the Sacred Monkey Forest of Padangtegal.

Suite Villa

Suite Villas are the pinnacle of our accommodation offerings at Barong Resort & Spa. These large and beautiful private villa compounds comprise two levels of opulence, suitable for families with up to four members, or groups sharing their Ubud holiday together. The upper level features a bedroom with a queen size bed, an open air bathroom, and balcony with dining table overlooking the gardens below.

Meanwhile, the lower level features another bedroom with a four-poster king size bed, an en suite bathroom, and which open to a large 16sqm private pool surrounded by your own tropical gardens. Both levels within the Suite Villas are spacious and allow for ease of movement, while wide floor-to-ceiling windows that are prevalent throughout our villas make for natural airflow and ample natural light.
