Sumberkima is a seaside village next to Pemuteran close to Menjangan Island, diving and snorkeling paradise. It has diverse scenery and authentic culture steeped in tradition. Here you can truly relax away from the bustle of the south. The resort has panoramic views of the hills, the bay of Sumberkima and the volcanoes of Java. It comes with two restaurants at the retreat, serving local and international cuisines. The reception team can organise all your excursions, yoga sessions and spa treatments.

Villa Madya is a comfortable apartment in the central part of Sumberkima Hill Retreat. The 30 meter wide Central Infinity Pool with Jacuzzi with views towards the volcanoes on Java is in front of your terrace. On the first floor you have a private terrace plus air conditioned lounge and kitchen/dining area. On the second floor there is spacious bedroom with a panoramic view. On the same level you will find the second toilet and open air bathroom. On the third floor you will find a roof terrace

You can also use the two communal pools at the retreat. A 30 meter infinity pool with views overlooking the barat national park and the volcanos on Java, located in the central part of the retreat. A second pool is located in the south part of the retreat. You can reach it after a 10 minute stroll uphill. This is the Lingga pool, with spectacular sunset views behind the Java volcanoes.

Two restaurants are available at the retreat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Suma and Senja restaurant. Suma restaurant offers fusion food and has a panoramic view overlooking the hills and the bay of Sumberkima. Senja Restaurant is an Indonesian restaurant with colourful sunset views behind the volcanoes of Java, overlooking the Barat National Park. You can also order room service from a special menu and enjoy your food in the privacy of your own villa.

We have a yoga pavilion and teacher available, the Yoga pavilion has a perfect view towards the sea. We also offer traditional and healing massage and beauty treatments at our spa.

Additional Info

During check in we will share WA numbers with you to make it easy to contact the reception, for instance to organise a trip, make a spa or massage appointment, book the free shuttle for the drives around the retreat and to Bangsal Harbor or to contact both restaurants. You can find a guest book in every villa which contains a list of things to do in the area and also mentions our general manager’s number for emergencies.
