Sumberkima is a seaside village next to Pemuteran close to Menjangan Island, diving and snorkeling paradise. It has diverse scenery and authentic culture steeped in tradition. Here you can truly relax away from the bustle of the south. The resort has panoramic views of the hills, the bay of Sumberkima and the volcanoes of Java. It comes with two restaurants at the retreat, serving local and international cuisines. The reception team can organise all your excursions, yoga sessions and spa treatments.

Villa Baja Barat is a one bedroom villa in the south side of the Sumberkima Hill retreat. Looking out onto the valley this villa consists of two floors. The sunsets on this side of the retreat can be amazing, overlooking Menjangan island, the Barat National Prak and the volcanoes on Java. With a lounge and kitchen area on the top floor and a bedroom and bathroom on the ground floor. The nearby communal Lingga pool truly make it a treat for the senses.

Guest Access

You can use 2 communal pools, one is in the Central part of the retreat, an infinity pool of 30 metres in length overlooking the hills and volcanoes, beautiful during sunset also!. The other pool is 22 metres in length. This is the Lingga pool, on the south side of the retreat, with spectacular sunset views behind the Java volcanoes.

Two restaurants are available at the retreat for breakfast, lunch and dinner, Suma and Senja restaurant. Suma restaurant offers fusion food and has a panoramic view overlooking the hills and the bay of Sumberkima. Senja Restaurant is an Indonesian restaurant with colourful sunset views behind the volcanoes of Java, overlooking the Barat National Park. You can also order room service from a special menu and enjoy your food in the privacy of your own villa.

We have a yoga pavilion and teacher available, the Yoga pavilion has a perfect view towards the sea. We also offer traditional and healing massage and beauty treatments at our spa.

Additional Info

Every villa has a mobile phone to make it easy to contact the reception, for instance to organise a trip, make a spa or massage appointment, book the free shuttle or to contact both restaurants. You can find a guest book in every villa which contains a comprehensive list of things to do in the area and also mentions our general manager’s number for emergencies.
