Villa Imani is a complex of Three 3 & 2-bedrooms ( Ariana, Malika, and Mahesa ) thatched villas, each with a private swimming pool, hidden away in the rice fields, just ten minutes’ drive from the beach on Bali’s south western coast. (Legian, Petitenget & BatuBelig beaches)

THE STYLE

The style blends modern Balinese architecture with minimalist design and local materials. All of the villas are completely self-contained and secure, with private entrances linked by a walled lane lined with spider lilies and green foliage. The close proximity of the three properties with a total of 7 bedrooms means that the complex is ideal for larger groups of people, or families, who want to be close to each other while still retaining an element of independence and privacy.

The approach to Imani Villas is through the traditional Balinese village of Umalas, the narrow country lane then winds through the rice fields for another kilometer before reaching the property. The entrance to Imani Villas is heralded by a line of palm trees flanking a sizeable parking area, guests are then greeted at an open-air reception pavilion, bordered by an ornamental pond. The locality is dotted with some of the most impressive villas on the island, and the sweeping view is enhanced on clear days by the magical sight of the Bali’s mountain range extending from Mt Agung in the east to Mt Batukaru in the northwest. Despite the close proximity to Seminyak, the traditions of rural Bali still prevail; cows are herded through the fields and the sound of ritual music is carried on the breeze.

LOCATION

Imani Villas is only ten minutes’ drive from the shops, nightlife and internationally acclaimed restaurants of trendy Seminyak. The sweeping beach at Seminyak is renowned for its world-class surf breaks, panoramic coastline views, and legendary sunsets. The area is also the location of Finn’s Recreation Club, Bali’s first and only international private member’ “club” offering sports, social and leisure facilities. Nirwana Golf course, designed by Greg Norman , is also a fourty-minute car journey.

Two Bedroom Villa Ariana

Villa Ariana is a single-storey 2 bedroom villa comprised of two thatched pavilions, living and bedroom pavilions, positioned around a 5 x 8 metre lap pool within a walled courtyard garden. As guests enter the garden, they will traverse an ornamental pond, complete with lilies and bubbling water features in twin pots; The pond links the pool and the open-air living pavilion. There are two sunbeds, and the pretty garden is planted with palms, frangipani trees, spider lilies and heleconia.

Living & Dining Pavilion

The Balinese traditional style open living and dining pavilion features a soaring ‘alang-along roof supported by pillars above a black terrazzo floor. The ceiling fan & gentle breezes keep the area cool. The pavilion is tastefully furnished with a deeply cushioned modern sofa, an oval coffee table, and a wooden armoire housing a satellite TV and Mini DVD home theatre. There is also a square dining table with four chairs, a powder room with a toilet, and a washbasin. The pavilion also integrates an open-plan kitchen located behind an L- shaped black terrazzo bar with an eye-catching metallic mosaic façade. The kitchen is equipped with a six-burner gas stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, water dispenser, and a good range of kitchenware and utensils

Bedroom

The two self-contained bedrooms, with their en-suite garden bathrooms, are each measuring 5×5 square meters, each with a cool cream terrazzo floor and large windows that admit plenty of natural light. Each is furnished with a king-size bed, working desk, chair, TV with 40+ channels, a safe deposit box, ceiling fan, and a tea&coffee making facilities
